SCANNED MAP IMAGES: With support from the Minnesota Digital Library project and the Digital Collections Unit of the University of Minnesota Libraries the Minnesota Geological Survey has inventoried and scanned 595 map plates and insert maps from publications dating back to 1872. The images and additional information are available for browsing through the Minnesota Reflections web site. The site is searchable by title, author, county and description; maps can be viewed at a variety of zoom levels.
