Accommodations

Blocks of rooms have been reserved for conference attendees in three Duluth area hotels, two in downtown Duluth – The Radisson Hotel DuluthHarborview (http://www.radisson.com/duluthmn), and The Holiday Inn Hotel and Suites (http://www.hiduluth.com) – and the third on the shore of Lake Superior in Canal Park – The Inn on Lake Superior (http://www.theinnonlakesuperior.com) all at very attractive rates. The two downtown hotels are connected to the DECC (our conference center) via the skyway system (an enclosed walkway), while the Canal Park is a short (5 minute) open-air walk. Please see the map at the bottom of this page for the locations of the hotels and their distance to the DECC and other meeting venues.
The Radisson Hotel has a very limited number (6) of special suites (Petite Suites) for families traveling with young children (ca. ages 3-10) at the conference rate. The rooms at the Inn on Lake Superior will have the view of the lake. All hotel reservations should be made directly with the hotel. Click on the hotel of your choice to be taken to the reservation page for that hotel. Standard daily room rates (not including taxes) are:

Radisson Hotel Duluth$79.00 (single-quad)
Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites$84.00 (single/double), $94 (triple), $104 (quad)
The Inn on Lake Superior$139.00 (single/double)
Meeting rates apply to June 24-July 1, 2006. For rates on other types of rooms (special suites, family rooms), contact the hotels. Summer is high season in Duluth, and hotel space is at a premium, especially on weekends. Conference rooms will be held until May 23, 2006. After May 23, the hotels will release any remaining block of rooms for general public. The regular room rates are 50% to 100% higher. Space is limited, so reserve early.
